The Petersburger Hanging of 2’000 collages in the exhibition The Charm of Ignorance (2012) (Bellpark Museum Kriens) and You, can you recommend your psychiatrist (Migros Museum) were the starting point for the concept of this book. The hanging was made fast, impulsively and each time site specific. Since it doesn’t matter which image is next to another, we let the printer change the way of folding and arranging all 32 signatures randomly. That way, each copy of this book is uniquely sequenced and is continuing the exhibition series.
